\n\n “Curriculum”\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not departfrom it.” Proverbs 22:6 “Thus saith the LORD, Learn not the way of the heathen, …” Jeremiah 10:2a KJB<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The curriculum you choose for your child’s education will maximize one of the two ways they can or will go. The way of the heathen is the foundation of the statist schools, and that way may lead to intellectual, social, moral, and spiritual corruption (Cf. Pro. 2:18-19). The statist curriculum is reinforced by modern media.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The way of God (John 14:6) is the way of life. The writer of Proverbs calls this the way of both wisdom and understanding (see Pro. 3:13-18). I call this “Operation Saturation.” I base this on Deuteronomy 6:1-9. The saturation and its operation include parents and grandparents promoting identical teaching\u2014a God-centered curriculum. Their efforts are reinforced by a Christian educational system using a God-centered curriculum. The church offers more foundational support in the training of the child, reinforcing both the home and Christian school. I call this “The Triangle of Hope,” and no one can train a child in the way he should go unless this triangle is implemented into the training process. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Proverbs 3:12 is an often-used Scripture to emphasize this triangle, “… a threefold cord is not quickly broken.” The church, the home and the school, all synchronized spiritually are a powerful tool in this triangle ofhope for the home. \u2014 G.G. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
