“Because He Lives”

“But now is Christ risen from the dead ,… “I Corinthians 15:20
Because the resurrection did occur, validating the
authenticity of His sacrifice, many things are also true,
according to Paul in I Corinthians 15:
Because He lives, the preaching of His death, burial and
resurrection is valid (15:14).
Because He lives, our faith in the efficacy of His work at
the cross is valid (15:14).
Because He lives, our witnessing at His command and
encouragement is valid (15:15).
Because He lives, our hope in our future rising from the
dead is valid (15:15-16).
Because He lives, His work on the cross has removed our
sins forever (15:17).
Because He lives, there is the reality of seeing loved ones
who have gone before (15:18).
Because He lives, the misery of hopeless living has been
forever cancelled (15:19).
Because He lives, all else the Bible testifies is verified and
can be trusted (15:20-23).
Because He lives, we will share in His future kingdom on
earth, the City of God (15:24-25).
Because He lives, I will have a new body, one equipped for
all that eternity has in store (15:35ff).
Because He lives, I experienced a new life when I trusted
Him, as a fourteen-year-old boy, in 1955!
Because He lives, He indwells me as the Holy Spirit and
makes it possible for me to face anything! BECAUSE HE
