Just because a woman repents of her promiscuous past and becomes a believer in Jesus Christ doesn’t mean she will automatically become a virtuous wife whose price is above rubies. These women are rare. Why? Many still have no desire to obey God’s instructions to them: submit and reverence their husband, be a keeper at home, don’t deprive him sexually, pursue a meek and quiet spirit… These are highly offensive to most Christian women. Few are being taught how to be virtuous wives. Churches have failed. Women’s Bible studies have failed. I didn’t learn about it until I was 45 even though I had attended church my entire life.
