A LETTER TO PRESIDENT TRUMP – by CHARLES CURTMAN
A LETTER TO PRESIDENT TRUMP – by CHARLES CURTMAN CHARLES CURTMAN Nov 19, 2025
I don’t agree with everything President Trump has done or does. There are six major areas of disagreement I have enumerated in another article. With this said, I will add that I think he has demonstrated that he has the interests of every day Americans more sincerely at heart than most Presidents have had, and that he is the most competent and dynamic President in American history.
I think President Trump deserves and needs all of the encouragement he can possibly get, as often as he can get it. I think it would be a great thing if he could receive a barrage of encouraging letters each week (https://trumpwhitehouse.archives.gov/get-involved/write-or-call/). My most recent letter to the President is reprinted below:

Dear President Trump,
The purpose of this letter is to thank you from the bottom of my heart for all that you have done, are doing, and plan to do to Make America Great Again. I know that you have an unimaginable amount of political “rubbish” to clean up in order to do this while at the same time you must deal with some of the most vicious and corrupt and un-American people that have ever deserved the description of being “enemies within.”
History and personal observation inform me that the survival of our Constitutional Republic has never been in more peril than it is now. I am sorry that so many in this country, even among our supporters, do not realize the magnitude of what is at stake. But many of us do, and my wife and I are among the many who are burdened for you and praying for you.
I’m glad to see God strengthening you mentally and physically for the work you are doing, the leadership you are demonstrating, etc. And I am glad for the personal and quiet trust and dependence on God that I am convinced you have.
I have written you before, and will continue to write. I hope that somehow you are made aware by those who handle your correspondence, of our love and support for you, which I’m sure is shared by millions even though they’ve not as yet written to you.
Sincerely,
Charles R. Curtman
The following words of Nehemiah when faced with his seemingly impossible task, are applicable, I think, to our situation and circumstances as a nation today:
“Then said I unto them, Ye see the distress that we are in, how Jerusalem lieth waste, and the gates thereof are burned with fire: come, and let us build up the wall of Jerusalem, that we be no more a reproach.
Then I told them of the hand of my God which was good upon me; as also the king’s words that he had spoken unto me. And they said, Let us rise up and build. So they strengthened their hands for this good work.”—Nehemiah 2:17, 18
