“Make America Godly Again”
“Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts,
we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present
world;” Titus 2:12
President Trump ran a successful presidential campaign
using the letters MAGA to represent a theme of “Making
America Great Again.” The theme challenged us to remember
“the good old days.”
I am burdened that America needs a campaign (call it a
revival) to: Make America Godly Again! Some of us remember a time when Bibles were on teachers’ desks at
school, when almost every family had a “Family Bible” as the
centerpiece of their living room, and many Americans
attended church services every week. Can we return to those
days? To do so …
We need Godly Messages from God’s Word to replace
“Positive Pointers.”
We need Godly Ministers who are not afraid to declare,
“the whole counsel of God.”
We need Godly Music to stir our souls. The messageshould be clear and correct … and that’s not boring!
We need Godly Members of Congress to represent us.
Christians should consider seeking political office, thus,
making a difference.
We need Godly Members in church, whose livesdemonstrate their love of God and His church.
We need Godly Men who will lead their families in daily
devotions, in faithful church attendance, and in Christian service.
We need Godly Moms who will focus their energy on their
families. “The hand that rocks the cradle rules the world.”
As you read the above, I trust thoughts come to your mind
and may God help us to do our part to “Make America Godly
