“Living The Bible Way”
“Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.” Psalm 119:105

We live in a day and age when people are making up excuses why they can’t live a godly, Christian life. They blur the lines between right and wrong, and make up a grey area. This grey area includes whatever they feel like doing at the moment, despite what they have been taught from the Bible. The Bible clearly outlines how a Christian should walk, talk and live their life. It’s time we got back to the Bible way of living. We need not live by what makes one feel good or what makes me happy, but by the Word of God. II Timothy 3:16 says, “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, … ” At times we may not like it, and at times we may not always feel like obeying God’s Word, but when we do, we begin to live the Bible Way. Let’s not just look at it as a mere book, but as a “… a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. ” Jeremiah was dealing with a difficult crowd and their response to his plea and the Lord’s pleasure was not heeded. Read, “Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls….” Their sad response was “… We will not walk therein.” We need to live and walk the Bible Way! — P.J.
