This contains hundreds of brief biographies and tidbits of information. It also serves as a launching point for further research. This is a handy must have for Baptist history research. It was published originally in 1881 so information is up to that point. My copy is a one volume edition reprint printed by the Baptist Standard Bearer. (www.standardbearer.org) They no longer have it in this format- rather they have it in three volume sets either paperback or hardback- either get a little pricey $68-100.00 for the three volume set.
