“Who’s Boss?”

“He that is not with me is against me; and he that
gathereth not with me scattereth abroad.” Matthew 12:30
There isn’t any in between with that verse! James said,
“Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the
friendship with the world is enmity with God? whosoever
therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.”
(James 4:4) If you’re a citizen of Heaven that befriends the
world, you’re a traitor to God. You’re operating contrary to
your own God and to your own people. Those that are free
from sin are the servants of God. Those that are free from God
are servants of Satan.
You say, “Where does it say that?” Joshua 24:15 says,
” … Choose you this day whom ye will serve; … ” I don’t get to
choose IF I serve. I get to choose WHOM I serve. If I don’t
serve God by choice, I will serve the devil by default. There is
no way around it. I’m telling you that if I don’t practice the
crucified life, I’m going to be a servant to sin. Because the
only thing that sets me free from sin is being crucified with
Christ and raised in the power of the Spirit of God, the power
of the resurrection. The only way you’ll live a victorious life is
if you practice the crucified life, if you reckon yourself dead to
sin and alive unto God, and then shun sin and embrace
righteousness.
You reserve yourself for God and salvation is a matter of
changing bosses. You never do become your own boss! God
or … – D.C.
